Your mission
  • You will be responsible for developing and managing payment-related products, from ideation to launch. 
  • You will maintain the product roadmap and ensure that product development is aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • You will collaborate mainly with the engineering team, product design and other product managers, but also with stakeholders from other departments.
  • You will be learning from and teaching other product managers; sharing your knowledge, learning about our ecosystem, and reducing knowledge silos.
  • You will write product requirements documents (PRD) for new products and turn customer problems into actionable user stories, prioritize them and own the product backlog.
  • You will ensure that the engineering team has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on, so we keep on delivering an amazing product and experience to our customers and partners.
  • You will facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation, including external facing API documentation.  
Your profile
  • You can understand and anticipate customer needs and pain points in the payment industry and develop products that meet those needs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fintech, payment solutions, or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fintech concepts, payment processing systems, digital wallets, mobile banking, and other related technologies.
  • You know how to scope features as small as possible to ship them early and use the feedback to iteratively improve the product.
  • You love to understand how a product or system works and enjoy thinking through complex product interactions.
  • You love to work in, collaborate with, and occasionally lead, cross-functional teams.
  • You feel very comfortable working with API's.
  • Your work-day overlaps with Europe/Zurich office-hours for at least 5h.
  • optional requirements
    • Previous experience as a (technical) product manager including both successes and failures (“scars”), which help you make better decisions.
    • Knowledge and experience about technical architectures of modern web and mobile applications.
    • Deep understanding of the payment industry, including payment processing, competitors, and regulations.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 2,854 according to the IT collective agreement on a full-time basis, with a willingness to overpay according to qualifications and professional experience.
