Senior Product Manager - Payments Interoperability (m/f/x)

About the role

Bluecode is on a mission to build a European payment scheme that works all around the world. One of the main pillars of our vision is to enable interoperability between bluecode and existing payment schemes. E.g., Bluecode is a leading member of EMPSA (https://empsa.org/) where we strive for an interoperable European payments network.

Your mission

In this role you will be responsible for expanding our coverage through our interoperability use-cases.

You'll collaborate closely with the management team to find new opportunities for interoperability.
You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from start to finish. This includes evaluating the business case, guiding the discovery and development process with clear documentation, managing testing, resolving complex settlement and reconciliation processes, and supporting the operations team post-launch.
Collaborate with the rest of the company to enable customized interoperability solutions.

Your profile

Highly organized, detail oriented, focused and motivated to solve complex problems.
Strong grasp of payment systems including card rails, open banking, wallets, authorization, capture, cancel, refunds, settlements, reconciliation, fraud, disputes, and regulations.
Enthusiasm for technology systems and integrations.
Effective communicator in English; proficiency in German is beneficial.
Prior experience with integrating QR-based payment methods is advantageous.

About this job:

The tech team operates remotely, but we value proximity for fostering strong working relationships. We have offices in Austria (Vienna & Innsbruck) and the CPO is based in Berlin. Joining from any of these three locations would be preferable.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 3,724 on a full-time basis according to the IT collective agreement, with a willingness to overpay according to qualifications and professional experience.

Deine Aufgaben

In dieser Funktion bist du für die Ausweitung unserer Reichweite durch unsere Interoperabilitätsanwendungen verantwortlich.

Du wirst eng mit dem Managementteam zusammenarbeiten, um neue Möglichkeiten für die Interoperabilität zu finden.
Du beaufsichtigst den gesamten Lebenszyklus eines Projekts, von Anfang bis Ende. Dazu gehören die Bewertung des Business Case, die Leitung des Discovery- und Entwicklungsprozesses mit klarer Dokumentation, das Testing, die Lösung komplexer Abrechnungs- und Abstimmungsprozesse und die Unterstützung des Operationsteams nach der Einführung.
Du arbeitest mit dem Rest des Unternehmens zusammen, um maßgeschneiderte Interoperabilitätslösungen zu ermöglichen.

Dein Profil

Sehr gut organisiert, detailorientiert, zielgerichtet und motiviert, komplexe Probleme zu lösen.
Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Zahlungssysteme einschließlich Kartensystemen, Open Banking, Wallets, Autorisierung, capture, cancel, refunds, settlements, reconciliation, Betrug, Streitigkeiten und Regulierungen.
Begeisterung für technologische Systeme und Integrationen.
Effiziente Kommunikation in Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
Frühere Erfahrungen mit der Integration von QR-basierten Zahlungsmethoden sind von Vorteil.

Aus gesetzlichen Gründen weisen wir darauf hin, dass für diese Position ein kollektivvertragliches Monatsbruttogehalt lt. IT-Kollektivvertrag EUR 3.724 auf Vollzeitbasis gilt, mit Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung entsprechend Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung.
